Double Chocolate Brownie Mix

Double Chocolate Torte
Torte:
1, 20 oz package or 1 pouch Ghirardelli Double Chocolate
Brownie Mix*
Chocolate Topping:
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup whipping cream
Preheat oven to 325°F. For Torte: Prepare brownie batter as directed on brownie package. Spoon batter into parchment lined or greased, 9-inch round cake pan. Bake as directed on package for 8x8-inch pan. Cool 10 minutes and invert onto serving plate. For Chocolate Topping: Place chocolate chips in small bowl. Heat whipping cream just until low boil and pour over chocolate chips. Stir until chocolate chips have melted and mixture is smooth. Spread warm chocolate topping over top and sides of torte. Chill until set. Store in the refrigerator.
Makes 12-16 servings.
Variation:
For Chocolate Orange Torte, prepare as directed, adding 1 tablespoon finely grated orange zest to batter.
*Great with Ghirardelli Syrup Brownie Mix or Walnut Brownie Mix too!
